As Michelle and Rich’s March wedding approached, we discussed the weather a bit, and how they had both hoped maybe by some odd chance it might be warm enough to have their ceremony outside. Abigail Kirsch’s Tappan Hill Mansion was host to their big day, and it’s a stunning venue with breathtaking views of the Hudson River, so naturally we had hoped to use the outdoor space! But as the day grew closer, forecasts of rain attempted to put a damper on things. With temperature’s hovering around the freezing mark and a constant eye on the radar in my Dark Sky app, I arrived and declared to the bridal suite that it would be PERFECT if we could get some big, fluffy snowflakes during their first look. And it would be even better if they could stick around through all of the wedding portraits. You know, in a perfect world. Michelle told me that Rich shared in this desire. If it wasn’t going to be warm and sunny, he wanted a beautiful snowfall. And since dreams do indeed come true, wouldn’t you know we got our perfect snowfall? It started right when we needed it, and ended when we were finished, making for the most perfect winter wedding photos! The entire day was fantastic, to be honest. So many laughs and happy tears were shared. Michelle looked stunning in her gown, and of course Rich made quite the dapper groom! The dance floor did not stop for half a second, thanks to the Hank Lane band (they are among the very best!) and everyone had an amazing time! Congrats to Michelle and Rich!!
