Your wedding album. One of the most important pieces of your family history.
A record that you can hold in your hands, page through time and again...heck, you can even hug it. I won't judge. The printed wedding album is a format that has been around for ages, and will surely outlive jpegs and whatever file type comes along next. We live in an age where most of us have seen the short life span of video tapes, floppy disks (remember those?), and DVDs are already on the way out...where so many have forgotten the simple joy of sitting down with loved ones and paging through photo albums, laughing at old fashions and tearing up over the ones who are no longer here, and the fun of finding an old box of photos and playing a casual game of "remember this??"
Albums are the culmination of all of my work surrounding your wedding day. They're the finished product. They contain extra care given to your memories, laid out perfectly to tell the story of your day in a way that requires no words. I want nothing more than for each and every one of my couples to reminisce through their albums on their 5th wedding anniversary and on their 50th, to relive those moments and recall how much life has changed since.
The process is easy...we work together to choose the perfect photos and the perfect cover. I personally design a custom layout for each and every one of my couples, and we work together to ensure it's exactly what you want. If desired, I'll come over to you or you can visit me, and we can share cupcakes while working on our ideas together. (I really love doing this. Hint, hint!)
I offer both the modern flush mount style, where photos are printed directly on the page, and a modern twist on the classic matted album. Cover options are nearly unlimited. I've been loyal to my album company for years now, and I love them. No, like, I really, really love them. They're based right here in New York, where the albums are handmade with extra care. I work very closely with them, and have visited the factory on several occasions. It's basically like Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory for photographers...only better. They share in my vision, and truly believe in the value of a spectacular wedding album. Which is exactly what I feel I owe to each of my couples, because you deserve the absolute best.
