"I did not hire Amanda for an engagement shoot or a wedding. I hired her for a different very special event. My grandfather turned 80. As a surprise party, my mother put together a concert. This concert wasn't just the high school choir singing-- it was world famous opera singers (and not I am not exaggerating). Although Amanda had another shoot earlier in the day, and there was massive traffic, she made it on time and stayed through the entire concert and party afterward. She captured the true personalities of everyone in attendance. In some of the photos I can almost hear my Grandfather talking, and that will stay with me for as long as I have those pictures. Each photo exuded the emotions of the day, and the personality of the subject of the photo. Amanda had not met anyone at this event, except for me, and magically she reflected everyone's spirit. (As a quick side note, she managed to create my favorite photo in the entire world-- a shot of my two brothers, one had just told a joke and the other burst into laughter. To this day I can not even think about the photo without laughing so hard I cry.) I can not praise her work enough. Not only was her work exactly what I hoped for (and more), but her attitude and demeanor was that of a true professional. She endured and indulged ridiculous requests from my Grandmother with a smile on her face. She was invisible during the concert portion of the evening, while getting shots that were right in the action. For any event I need a photographer, Amanda is it."

"My wedding day so special. We knew we wanted to be different and still act like us. We knew our wedding day had to be elegant but simple, unique and very New York. We got married at City Clerk's office on Friday February the 13th and Amanda was there to document our nuptials. She was patient and made everything so easy! We went for a photo shoot around City Hall area afterward and we all braved the cold but sunny weather and we let her get creative with her shots. The pictures turned out breathtakingly amazing, and my family and friends are still talking about it.
